Joebin Devassy is a Senior Partner jointly managing Desai & Diwanji’s Gurugram offices. 

Joebin has a diverse practice which inter-alia focuses on cross-border and domestic acquisitions, investments, mergers, joint ventures, divestures and spin-offs, across industry sectors. Additionally, he focuses on two divergent practice areas - a) real estate and industrials, wherein he acts for real estate funds and developers across asset classes (including commercial, housing, retail and warehousing) and b) technology. He also provides litigation strategy advisory to his clients in relation to the above.

Joebin is a member of the Lexis Nexis Editorial Board (M&A) for Practical Guidance. He began his career litigating on behalf of the Government of India, being associated with the offices of a Central Government Standing Counsel (Delhi High Court) and has also worked with the regulatory and tax practice of PwC.

On account of the above, his clients lean on him for providing strategic, result-oriented, practical, creative and holistic solutions to transactional and other corporate issues.
