Rachna Jain is a Senior Partner at Desai & Diwanji’s Gurgaon offices.

Rachna’s practice focuses on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, joint ventures, private equity investments, venture capital and early-stage enterprise investments,  restructuring and formulation of exit strategies, strategic management takeover and post-acquisition transition/integration, commercial contracts, general corporate law and employment as well as labour laws, for both listed and unlisted companies.

She has extensive experience in all types of M&A and investment transactions including financial and strategic investments, mergers and amalgamations, asset and business purchases and sales, securities sales and purchases, joint ventures, strategic buy outs, etc. Her employment and labour law practice includes advisory on employee transition, mass retrenchment and lay-offs, severance negotiations, handling highly sensitive and contentious senior exits, employment related disputes and POSH investigations.

Her clients include large multinational corporations, domestic listed and unlisted companies, private equity firms, venture capital funds, start-ups across industry sectors.
